Diamondsharp first introduced "Mach 1" Series Blades in 1985. Designed for fast penetration into all of granite and dimensional stone. "Mach 1" blades are a proven winner  with many contractors.

"Mach 1" blades are a proven winner with contractors. The unique zig-zag design prompts fast ejection of wet or dry cutting residues which normally advance blade wear. Indented side ports create a turbo-action that provide regular ventilation and cooling of each segment thereby permitting longer sawing cycles before the blade builds up heat from friction. Additionally, the attachment of segments through state of the art fusion techniques adds greatly to increased protection for the saw blade operator and minimizes chance of tool failure resulting in costly downtime.

Prolonged cutting periods contribute to overheating of the blade and can result in warping of the core. Allow for sufficient cooling of the blade.
